Lately, we have been keeping quiet regarding various opportunities that we as a team are very passionate about.
During the past few years, our stylist Emily has qualified in professional training for a family experience with Learning Disabilities and Autism.
A few months ago, we received official confirmation that The Salon Upstairs is now registered and listed with the Autism directory. We are very proud to be the ONLY salon within miles to be listed on their directory, which is countrywide.
This now means that we will book the salon exclusively for 1-2-1 private appointments on request. We ensure this is a great and unique experience for our guests, that the salon is completely quiet, and that our guests will always feel as comfortable as possible.
Last week, we had a phone call from a family living 1.5hrs away. The family phoned and asked to make an appointment with Emily. Their child is autistic and had struggled to style their hair for years. Emily completely transformed their hair, which was life-changing for them as they can now style and brush their hair more easily.
This beautiful bouquet arrived this morning from the family to say Thank You. We wanted to show you all why we love our job…💘
