π©π»βπ On Monday 5th July 1993 I stepped into my 1st job role at Anthony James Hairdressers in Norbury, South London. This was a two-week placement from my school’s work experience programme. I was fortunate enough to be asked back to work on Saturdays and late nights. Upon finishing school I started my apprenticeship which resulted in 2 x NVQ hairdressing and customer service qualifications. During the 18 x month apprenticeship I got to train at the Headmasterβs academy in Wimbledon village, this led to working alongside the teams at the Richmond, Kingston upon Thames and Croydon branches also.
ππ»ββοΈ In 2001 I started at The cutting room in Streatham and worked alongside some very creative people. It was here that I discovered my love of hair colouring and decided that I wanted to further my career by becoming a colour educator.
π¨ January 2004 I started my colour journey at The Goldwell Academy in Mayfair. It was here that my whole career changed. I got to meet and work with celebrity stylists, participate in stage work and teach hairdressers and salon owners how to use Goldwell professional hair colour and KMS California retail products.
π In 2011 after a personal move I started a job at Francescos in Newcastle under Lyme. I spent 5 years there having an amazing time with great people. As a team, we collaborated and got through to the finals of the 2013/ 2014 Wella Trendvision midlands category for creative colour and cutting.
π In 2016 after careful consideration I decided to launch my own business and thanks to a loyal customer base and team, we are now located at the Tern Valley business park.
ππ» There are way too many people to mention but a BIG THANKS to EVERYONE that I have had the privilege of working with over the past 30 years!!
